Make Money in United Kingdom and Ireland
There are many ways to make money in the United Kingdom and Ireland
The new coalition governments in United Kingdom and Ireland and their new austerity measures mean many people like you will have to tighten their belts over the coming months.
While sticking to a budget and finding ways to cut back are great in the long term, with a some imagination and effort you could find there are ways you can actually make money in United kingdom and Ireland.
So you have tracked down that auld bank account only to find that there is only penny’s or cents left in it.
You have Claimed all of your tax credits that you could lay your hands on and you are still very short on cash in your pocket or purse.
You have looked in your savings account and you are hoping that the rainy day does not come or stay too long as whats in the savings account will be bare before too long.
And you have looked at becoming a mystery shopper, but the expense you run up, in running around checking so called bargains only wastes your time and you are stuck with unwanted goods that no one else in their right mind seems to want or even use, and the few quid you earn is gone on fuel for the car.
Maybe you have tried to use Cashback Credit Cards, as these offer you money back on purchases in certain shops that never seem to be as local as you require in order to save the money, but often the product is not exactly the model you wanted so you end up making do with an inferior product that maybe does not do the job you want. So you still need to make money, as its a better option as then you can buy exactly the right product you want.
Then you have Cashback sites that offer you a 100% commission, but you are signed up to a long term contract with extortion rates that you are tied into so you end up in debt owing a lot of money.
If you fancy seeing yourself on screen, film and TV companies are always on the hunt for extras. You could make up to £150 a day and get the chance to meet some famous actors.
Would you volunteer for clinical trials as it doesn’t just have to involve taking untested and risky drugs. Some clinical trials are perfectly safe, such as sleep studies, psychological tests and taste testers. Fit and healthy volunteers living in London willing to donate their blood for clinical research, for example, could be paid £40 a time. This could be a way to make money, so long as you don’t mind a few side effects for the rest of your life.
But remember, never sign up for anything you are not happy with – risking your health for a few extra pounds is just not worth it.
Now you could take in a lodger. While most of us pay a fortune for our homes, it’s possible to make your home make money for you. According to Santander, you could make as much as £289 a month from renting out a spare room. Under the government’s ‘rent a room’ scheme, you don’t need to pay tax on the first £4,250 you receive either, which means you could charge up to £354.16 a month without being lumbered with a tax bill. But can you put up with strangers in your lovely home and taking over the TV and the bathroom, maybe leaving a sink full of their used dishes and their dirty laundry all over the place. Your family becoming second class citizens in your own home.
Oh here is a good way to earn extra cash. Rent out a parking space. Great if you don’t need the space. But remember you will have to insure the space at business rates, because if anything happens to the parked car, then you can be liable, which affects your home insurance for the future.
Have you tried Auctions. We’re all guilty of hoarding items that “could come in handy one day”. But one man’s rubbish could be another man’s treasure, which is why online auction website eBay.co.uk is so successful. In fact, eBay estimates the average British house has about £450 worth of unwanted items that could be sold on the site. Ok so you will get a few quid for your treasure, but what can you sell next week? Also you could go to car boot sales every weekend, with pitches costing about £10 a day. But where do I get more products for next week when I have flogged all the bits in the attic?
Now we get to your old mobile phone as many of us have an old mobile phone gathering dust in a drawer somewhere, but you could easily turn it into cash, even if it is slightly damaged. Ok, that’s grand for this week now back to the drawing board for next weeks cash flow.
That’s a lot of way’s you can make money in this country.
Do you have a skill that others want?

“If you spent years of your life being marched to piano lessons, put the experience to good use in adulthood by advertising your services in the local newspaper as a music teacher.
“Just three hour-long lessons a week could see you up to £50 better off, not to mention the sense of satisfaction you will get. The same applies for languages.”
